Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, INC Research is a therapeutically focused top tier contract research organization (CRO) that has offices across the U.S. and on 5 continents. As a result of tremendous growth in the past year, INC Research was searching for a web development partner who can provide web technologies and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services to satisfy its growing needs in marketing and communication. NetLiance’s experiences and capabilities proved to be a good fit to meet the project requirements. NetLiance utilized its proven effective deployment process to deliver the new web site on-time, on-target, and on-budget.

In the planning stage, NetLiance proposed a content architecture to streamline content organization, simplify site management and accommodate future growth. Working closely with John Kelly Foster, a San Diego-based marketing and advertising firm, NetLiance implemented new design concepts to reflect INC Research’s marketing strategies, expanded services, and growing global presence. Interactive functions, including news and events, job listings, white page registration, newsletter sign-up, and investigator registration are seamlessly integrated with the web site to provide visitors with optimal experience. Leads collected from the web site are automatically fed to INC Research SalesForce account.

One of the primary objectives of the project was to improve search engine visibility of the web site. With over 10 years of experience in SEO, NetLiance staff thoroughly analyzed the target market and competition, and proposed plans to quickly improve the visibility of the web site in both organic searches and pay-per-click (PPC) ads. The web site was carefully engineered to embed the SEO components into the site architecture, paving the way for future optimization efforts.

The backend of the web site is supported by NetLiance’s content management system, netCMS. netCMS allows INC Research staff to manage the content from an easy-to-use, browser-based interface, without any knowledge in web site programming. NetLiance provided training to give INC Search staff a head start in content management.  NetLiance also provides hosting and ongoing support of the web site.

Developing a large corporate web site is usually a demanding task, for both the developer and the client. In this project, the NetLiance team built a strong bond with staff from INC Research and John Kelly Foster through strategic planning, open communication, and effective project management.  It was team work at its best!
